WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS 12) — We're tracking a front across the eastern third of the country that will be bringing increasing rain chances for the second half of the weekend and beyond.
Pleasant weather continues on Friday with partly sunny skies and only a 10% chance of showers. High temps will peak in the low 80s. By Saturday, shower chances increase to 20%.
Our next weather maker will move into the region as a cold front early Sunday increasing our rain chances to 50% and mostly cloudy skies. The front will stall just to our south on Monday, with an area of low pressure expected to form along the frontal boundary. As the low moves east into the Atlantic, rain chances will become likely for Tuesday and Wednesday.
Although severe weather is not likely, a few thunderstorms will be possible.
Temps drop into the mid 70s for much of the upcoming workweek.
