Tropical Storm Kirk has weakened to an open wave over the Caribbean Sea. The remnants of Kirk are moving W/NW at 14 mph across the Caribbean and this forward motion is expected to continue over the next several days.

The remnants are currently located 190 miles S/SW of St. Croix. There will be no more advisories on Kirk.

Subtropical Storm Leslie is located about 820 miles E/NE of Bermuda with max winds of

45 mph. Leslie is moving to the SW at 7 mph. A general motion to the SW will continue during the next several days.

Some strengthening is possible and Leslie could become a hurricane during the next few days.

Swells generated by Leslie are affecting Bermuda and the Northern Leeward Islands and will reach other portions of the Lesser Antilles, Greater Antilles, and Bahamas through Saturday.

Swells are expected to reach portions of the east coast of the United States by Sunday. These swells are likely to cause life-threatening surf and rip current conditions.
