List of closings and cancellations due to Hurricane Irma

Below is a list of closings due to damage from Hurricane Irma:

All public schools except Martin County are closed for the rest of the week.

Martin County Schools will reopen Thursday, Sept. 14.

PBIA opened on Monday at noon and the first scheduled flight out is at 3:30 p.m.

  • The Benjamin School in Palm Beach
  • John Carroll High School in Fort Pierce
  • Liberty Baptist Academy in Fort Pierce - will open on Thursday, Sept. 14
  • Jupiter Christian School
  • Pine Crest (Preparatory) School; Fort Lauderdale and Boca Raton campuses
  • Shepherd's School in Pahokee
  • Gulf Stream School
  • St. Helen Catholic School in Vero Beach
  • St. Anastasia Catholic School in Fort Pierce
  • St. Joan of Arc in Boca Raton – closed Tuesday and Wednesday
  • St. John Paul II Academy in Boca Raton
  • St. Joseph Catholic School in Stuart
  • St. Luke School in Palm Springs
  • St. Vincent Ferrer School in Delray Beach

  • Cardinal Newman High School in West Palm Beach

Florida Atlantic University cancelled classes through Tuesday, Sept. 12.

Palm Beach Atlantic University has cancelled all classes through Wednesday, Sept. 13.

Florida International University and Lynn University are closed until further notice.

Keiser University campuses statewide will be closed through Tuesday, Sept. 12.

Indian River State College will be closed through Tuesday, Sept. 12 and will reopen Wednesday, Sept. 13.

Broward College is closed until further notice.

Southeastern College’s Miami Lakes and West Palm Beach Campuses will be closed through Tuesday, Sept. 12 and will reopen Wednesday, Sept. 13.

Everglades University will be closed fthrough Tuesday, Sept. 12.
