Chris has spent nearly all of his 30-year, weather forecast career with CBS12 in West Palm Beach! He came to CBS12 in June 1990 after spending 7 years with WTVX34 in Fort Pierce. He graduated from the University of Florida in 1983 with a minor in meteorology. He received his Meteorology Certification from Mississippi State University in 1992. Chris earned the American Meteorological Society (AMS) Seal of Approval in 1992. He has flown on two, National Hurricane Center hurricane hunter missions. In those experiences he covered Tropical Storms Elena in 1985 and Floyd in 1990. He was raised in both Gainesville and Key Biscayne, Florida. He served three years in the U.S. Army in the 2/67th Air Defense Artillery unit as an Air Defense MissileCrewman. He earned the rank of Specialist 4th grade and was stationed in Mannheim Germany for all three years. Chris was born in Oxford, Mississippi. He has two brothers and three sisters.

Chris is on the air weekday mornings and afternoons. His forecasts are on "CBS12 News This Morning" from 4:30-7 AM. Chris isalso the meteorologist on CBS12 News at noon. He delivers the forecast weekday mornings on Palm Beach County radio stations WIRK 107.9, WMBX 102.3,WEAT 104.3 and The New Legends 100.3. Outside of Palm Beach County, hes on the Treasure Coast AM 1590 WPSL in Port St. Lucie, AM 1450 WSTU in Stuart, in Vero Beach WGYL The Breeze 93.7 and AM stations WOSN, WTTB and WJKD.

Chris is active with the local branch of the Humane Society's and hosts a Pet-Of-The-Day segment featuring local animal shelters.Chris frequently gives weather lectures and visits schools throughout the viewing area. He lives in Palm Beach County with his girlfriend Dawn-Marie. He plays tennis and golf frequently and still surfs when the waves aren't too big and the water is warm! For the last ten years Chris has run the Palm Beach County Half Marathon.
