Some coaches were complaining about the new schedule for the high school baseball playoffs. Teams were only playing one game per week.

Well good thing that was the case - because some games that were supposed to be played Tuesday - were postponed all the way until Friday.

Like Trinity Christian playing Miami Christian in the Regional Finals - trying to become the first team in Palm Beach County history to win three straight state titles.

But the Warriors dug themselves a hole they could not get out of. Former CBS12 Athlete of the Week Angel Tiburcio gave up three runs in the first inning and then two in the second, and that was enough for Miami Christian to pull off the upset. The Warriors run comes to an end, with a 5-1 defeat.

In the 9a semifinals, Jupiter beat Palm Beach Central 5-1, and Stoneman Douglas knocked off Flanagan 1-0. That means MSD and Jupiter will play each other in the regional finals for the third straight year.
