Future Gator Armstong leads Benjamin baseball to rout in opening round

Kris Armstrong threw five perfect innings, and Bucs brought their bats to the postseason, as Benjamin rolled over Oasis 14-0 in a mercy-rule finish in the 4A Regional Semifinals.

The Florida commit struck out 10 of the 15 batters he faced. Benjamin scored two runs in the first and added seven in the second to put away the game quite early on Wednesday afternoon. The Bucs will play American Heritage in the Regional Finals next Tuesday.
