Gase says Tannehill will come back better than ever

Dolphins Head Coach Adam Gase

Now that there's not a next game to look ahead to, Dolphins Head Coach Adam Gase has had a chance to look back at what went wrong, in his team's disappointing 6-10 season.

Wednesday he spoke along with executive vice president of operations Mike Tannenbaum and general manager Chris Grier about what happened this season, and what's to come this offseason.

Gase said he believes the season would've been much different in Ryan Tannehill was not lost in training camp, but he did stand by the Jay Cutler signing, saying that it is the best the team could've done in that position.

He said going forward, it's Tannehill's team, and that he believes Tannehill will be "better than he's ever been" when he comes back next season.

The group also said keeping their current players is an important part of their offseason strategy.
