When most young boys pick up a football for the first time, they dream about one day going to the NFL.

For one Palm Beach County High School football team, Thursday they got to spend a day in the lives of the Dolphins.

The Boca Raton High Bobcats were special guests of the Fins at practice. They met quarterback Ryan Tannehill, and got a guided tour of the facilities. The Bobcats even got a pep talk, from former Dolphin Twan Russell.

The Bobcats were chosen because they participated in the RISE leadership program, created by Dolphins owner Stephen Ross. Participants learn about the history of race and sports, the power of sports to drive change and how they can become leaders in improving race relations.

The Dolphins are welcoming local teams all offseason - Stoneman Douglas will visit next week, and Glades Central will stop by next month.
