The 'Bear Trap Bash' raises more money this Halloween for Honda Classic Cares
Palm Beach Gardens (CBS12) —
There ain't no party like "a Bear Trap party" this Halloween, as the Honda Classic Cares threw their 'Bear Trap Bash' at PGA National. The event, which encouraged everyone to come in costumes, raised more money for children's charities, after the Honda Classic distributed a record-shattering 4.55 million dollars this past year.
"(The Bear Trap) has really become such an iconic part of this tournament," says Honda Classic Executive Director Ken Kennerly, who was dressed up like Jack Sparrow from the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. "And for us to bring the Bear Trap Bash into the fall is just another great way to remind people who we are, and what Honda Classic Cares is all about."
The Honda Classic has positively impacted the lives of more than 50,000 kids and their families in our community over the past year.
