Miami Dolphins end their losing season with embarrassing 42-17 defeat in Buffalo
Buffalo, NY (CBS12) —
The Miami Dolphins finsihed the 2018 season in fitting fashion, losing another uninspired game to the Buffalo Bills 42-17, to finish the season at 7-9. It's the seventh losing season for owner Stephen Ross over the past decade, leaving many wondering what the fate of head coach Adam Gase will be, along with other key figures in the Dolphins front office.
It was the Dolphins seventh straight loss on the road, and perhaps the most frustrating. A second half fight between the Dolphins and Bills led to Kiko Alonso and Robert Quinn getting ejected from the game. Besides those two ejections, the Dolphins defense was thoroughly embarrassed, ultimately allowing the most yards this season in franchise history.
Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill threw two interceptions and was sacked four times in what may have been his final game as a Dolphin. It was yet another futile effort from the Dolphins offense, with Tannehill going 18 of 31 passing for just 147 yards and no touchdowns.
