It was not a great night for Palm Beach County teams hoping to advance to their regions State Semifinals, but King's Academy saved the day with an unbelievable 23-22 come from behind win over First Academy from Orlando.

The Lions roared back big time after training 9-0 at halftime. Former CBS12 Athlete of the Week Justin Wake, who did not start the game because of a foot injury, brought the King's Academy offense to life.

Garret Larson scored the 5 yards touchdown in the 4th quarter to give the Lions the 16-15 lead, but First Academy pulled off some dramatics with a potential game winning touchdown to make it 22-16 with 22 seconds left in the game. But nothing was as dramatic as Wake's hail mary touchdown winner to Corey Crouteau, earning King's Academy the 23-22 win, taking the Class 3A Region 2 Championship.
