There is a distinct Parisian feel to the Boca West Country Club in Boca Raton this week. In fact, it's closest you can get to the French Open in South Florida. The first ever Rendez Vous a Roland Garros USA features 32 of the best junior tennis players in the country playing for a chance to enter a play-in tournament in Paris to compete against winners from five other countries, with a chance to them earn a spot in the Roland-Garros Juniors main draw.

"The main objective is to give the opportunity for American players to play on red clay," says Lucas Dubourg, the Head of International Business Development for French Tennis Federation. "And to give them the opportunity to play at Roland-Garros with a Purisian atmosphere."

13 year olf Coco Gauff from Delray Beach knocked off teh # 1 see at the tournament on Thursday, and hopes to get her opprtunity to play in Paris.

"I'm pretty sure I would have a blast competing against players from all different countries," says Gauff. "Meeting different people from different nationalities."

The Junior Tournament in Paris will take place in May. Meanwhile, the Roland Garros trophies will be on display at Boca West this Friday.
