Giancarlo Stanton doesn't travel to Jupiter for 7-5 Marlins win over Yankees

Yankees fans take over Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter

While former Marlins slugger, and brand new New York Yankee, Giancarlo Stanton did not make the trip with the Yankees to take on his former team in Jupiter, another former Yankees star did. Marlins owner Derek Jeter sat in a private box at Roger Dean Stadium, as Yankees fans turned around and gave him a standing ovation as he arrived.

Those Yankees fans weren't so impressive with a 7-5 spring training win for the Marlins, this did get to see both Aaron Judge and Didi Gregorius hit solo home runs in the late stages of the game. Jacob Turner and Kyle Barraclough both stuck out Judge earlier in the game.

The Marlins Brian Anderson hit a 3-run home run in the 3rd inning off Brady Lail which helped peg Jordan Montgomery with the loss.
