West Palm Beach was the center of the water skiing universe this weekend, with all of the soaking wet adrenaline you could handle at Okeeheelee Park. The Ski Club of the Palm Beaches was hosting the first stop of the Ski Nautique Big Dawg Water Ski Tour, what was one of four Worldwide stops on the tour this year. It was especially thrilling for West Palm Beach based water skiers like Greg Sund, who earned his spot in the top four by days end.

"It feels like my heart is at 200 (BPM), pounding," says Sund. "Some other people get nervous, but I'm the opposite, I get fired up."

"When you get to the maximum pass, your money pass," says this weekend's overall winner Greg Badel from California. "It's like taking a leap off a bungy tower. It's like barefooting for the first time, (thinking) I can walk on water! It's cool."

The next stops on the Big Dawg Water Ski Tour are Mississippi, followed by Spain, and then back to the U.S. in Colorado. The Nationals are in Michigan this year.
