Macy's has reopened stores in the West Palm Beach community with safety and wellness procedures to address customers' potential health concerns. Some of these measures include enhanced cleaning, social distancing guidelines to maintain six feet between those in stores and installing sanitation stations and plexiglass at registers. These new precautions are put in place to help keep you and your family safe while you shop.
For the love of beauty
Of all their departments, beauty continues to be a popular one for Macy's. Their staff understands that customers want to touch and test products before purchasing them. Macy's now offers "No Touch" consultations, where a customer will work with one of their beauty advisors to ensure the color and tone matches the customer's needs. It's safe yet interactive and still gives a fun shopping experience.
In select stores, customers can virtually "try-on" their selection of make-up products, from eye shadow to lipstick through Macy's interactive beauty camera. You can also virtually try on jewelry and elegant watches. Macy's colleagues ask that shoppers use the store's hand sanitizer.
A new take on fitting rooms
While most shoppers are eager to get back into the stores, some may be hesitant about trying on clothes. Macy's has considered this concern. Fitting rooms are limited throughout the stores, so colleagues can continually maintain social distancing. Clothing that is tried on will be held back for 24 hours before they are placed on the floor again.
Macy's continues to give back
During this unprecedented time, Macy's continues to value the importance of giving back to the communities in which they live and work. Customers who shop online can donate to the Meals on Wheels COVID-19 Response Fund, which provides food and wellness checks to those in need. Each $10 donation helps a much-needed meal to one of their nation's most at-risk populations. To date, Macy's colleagues and customers have raised over one million to the cause.
Macy's welcomes customers back into their stores in the West Palm Beach community. Whether you choose to shop in-store, online, or take advantage of curbside pickup, Macy's has everything you need as your one-stop-shop, from beauty to fashion and accessories to home for the season.
