Dramatic body camera video shows police officers in Oklahoma rescuing two young children from a carjacker.

It happened in Tulsa last month.

A mother told police she went inside a store and left her two children, aged 4 and 5, alone in the car. A witness told police she saw a man hop into the car and drive off.

Police tracked the stolen car. One officer saw the car drive past him. He saw the two children in the back seat and followed at a distance until more officers joined up.

Once the carjacking suspect pulled into a store, officers initiated a traffic stop and took him into custody at gunpoint.

The two children were not hurt and returned to their mother.

The suspect, identified by police as Jarrod Gilliam, faces two counts of kidnapping, larceny of a motor vehicle and larceny from a motor vehicle.
