Gruesome testimony filled a courtroom in Texas.

Candie Dominguez, 39, told jurors her boyfriend ordered her to dismember the body of her cousin and burn his limbs on a barbecue grill.

"It took awhile because we weren't on it, like doing other things," said Dominguez. "Like maybe two days."

CNN affiliate KSAT is covering the trial where Dominguez took the stand in the murder case against Gabriel Moreno. He is on trial for the murder of 35-year-old Jose Luis Menchaca.

Dominguez is a witness for the prosecution. She calmly said her boyfriend, Daniel Lopez, ordered her to lure Menchaca to her home in 2014. There, authorities said Lopez and Moreno attacked Menchaca with baseball bats and killed him.

The killing, KSAT reported, was retaliation for a drug deal that went south and led to an attack on Lopez. Lopez is serving life in prison for his role.

Dominguez reached a plea deal in exchange for a maximum of 30 years in prison.
