TREASURE ISLAND, Fla. (WGFL) — A Florida deputy was In the right place at the right time.

While patrolling in Treasure Island Thursday morning, Deputy Tyler Ott was behind a vehicle that stopped in front of him.

The motorist saw an owl in the street, being attacked by other birds. It appeared that he couldn’t fly.

Deputy Ott was able to pick him up in a towel and transport him safely to Arnold’s Wildlife, where he will remain until he has recovered and is able to be released.
