Witches of Delray prepare for 8th annual ride
DELRAY BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — Preparing to cast a spell on Delray Beach.
The Witches of Delray are getting ready for their annual ride!
Each year, witches around South Florida gather to ride down the streets of historic Delray Beach from Atlantic Avenue, A1A to the Delray Beach Green Market.
The money is raised for the Achievement Centers for Children and Families.
Before the ride at the end of the month, there is a "Witches Brew Happy Hour Fundraiser." This year it is at Tim Finnegans there will also be a bike raffle, karaoke, tarot card readings and a silent auction.
The Annual bike ride will be the last Saturday in the month.
At the end of their flight there is a "Best Decorated Bike", "Best Witch Costume" and "Best Witch Cackle" contest.
