Woman taken to hospital after shots fired in Riviera Beach

RIVIERA BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — Riviera Beach Police Department is investigating shots fired on 32nd Avenue Monday evening.

Riviera Beach Police Sgt. Glen Meyer tells CBS12 that officers were dispatched to a shots fired call near the intersection of 32nd Street and Avenue H.

Upon arrival, officers located an adult female suffering from a minor gunshot wound. She is expected to survive according to officers.

Sgt. Meyer says it is unknown where the shots came from, but officers are looking into an abandoned white vehicle near the intersection of the scene.
