Windy, rainy Tuesday as cold temps approach
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) —
South Florida is in for a windy and rainy day as a low pressure area develops on a stalled front near the Bahamas. The clouds and rain will hold temperatures to the middle to high 60s today. But that isn't all we have in store in regard to cold temperatures. By late afternoon Wednesday colder air will move through the area, dropping temps into the 50s, with lows ranging in the 30s on The Treasure Coast with near-freezing temperatures possible inland. Lows in the lower 40s in West Palm Beach with mid to upper 30s west of Florida's Turnpike. These could be the coldest temperatures we've experienced in 6 to 10 years of Winters. High temperatures will hold in the 60s and 70s through the rest of the week.
