Whale dies after beaching itself in Delray Beach
DELRAY BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) —
A Pygmy sperm whale died after washing ashore Saturday afternoon, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission said.
The whale beached itself on A1A near Atlantic Avenue for unknown reasons, according to the FWC. The body was transported to the Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute for a necropsy.
