With the new school year approaching, the Stuart Police Department and the city of Stuart are hosting its annual Backpack Drive.
The bash will be held on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the gym in Stuart Middle School, located at 575 Southeast Georgia Ave.
For families who attend the event, there will also be a pancake breakfast.

The City of Pahokee will host an annual Back to School Bash come Saturday.
At the event, families will have access to free backpacks and free school supplies.

The Boynton Beach Community Redevelopment Agency is having their premier event of the summer, the Boynton Beach Night Market.
The Boynton Beach Night Market is a free family-friendly event that will take place Saturday at the Centennial Park and Amphitheater.
Attendees of the event can walk through the green space where 50 vendors comprised of restaurants and concessionaires, retailers, artisans and professional service providers will show off their goods and services.
The Boynton Beach Night Market will also feature live music from the School of Rock, J.P. Soar, The Red Hots and Making Faces. There will also be aerial performances from Fly and Flow Fitness, a Boynton Beach aerial yoga studio.

To help students prepare for college the Town Center of Boca Raton is having a Back to Campus event.
Students who show their college ID or college acceptance letters will receive a $20 American Express Simon gift card. The event will also feature a professional photo-booth, DJ, and prize wheels.
And shoppers who show their same-day receipt totaling $150 or more will receive a custom embroidered crewneck sweatshirt.

This Sunday families and community members in Martin County are invited to take a sneak peek at Indiantown High School, Martin's County's newest charter high school, located at 19000 S.W. Citrus Blvd.
The school will officially open its doors to 9th, 10th and 11th graders when the school year begins on Aug. 9.
The school is operated by Indian River State College (IRSC) in partnership with the Martin County School District. The school will integrate traditional high school curriculum with workforce and college courses. The goal is to produce graduates that can directly pursue career opportunities or higher education opportunities upon graduation.
