The Octopus Ultra 100-mile Race
Starting on Friday, the city of Vero Beach will host its third annual Octopus Ultra. The event will run from July 14 through July 16.
The proceeds from the benefit will go towards the Villages of Armenia addiction recovery.
Runners will go out and back two, three, four, five or eight times to complete their chosen distance from a marathon to 100 miles. The course will take runners through parks and trails onto beaches of Indian River County.
When: Saturday, July 15 to Sunday, July 16.

'Paw Prints in the Sand' All Breed Dog Show
A dog lover? Then come go out and watch a dog show at the South Florida Fairgrounds Exposition Center.
Spectators will be able to see 1,000 dogs in partake in the competition.
When: Friday, July 14 through July 16, 2023.

Sarita Heights, Broadway & St. Lucie Estates Neighborhood Cleanup
In the mood for some community service? Well, join residents in the City of Stuart for its neighborhood cleanup.
It's the annual neighborhood for Sarita Heights, Broadway, and St. Lucie Estates neighborhood cleanup.
During the cleanup City of Stuart sanitation trucks comb the streets of these neighborhoods to collect large items, such as appliances and furniture, miscellaneous trash and yard waste.
The Martin County HazMobile will be parked at the Sable Club at 510 SE Parkway Drive, so residents can drop off waste such as paints, oils and household cleaners.

10th Annual Boca Burger Battle

CBS12 News' Sam Kerrigan will be judging this event.
According to the Boca Burger Battle website, the top chefs are "incredibly adventurous at creating the 'best burger recipe'" as they prepare for the Boca Burger Battle.

Rec n' Rescue at The Gardens GreenMarket
A day of fun on Sunday in Palm Beach Gardens.
Grab a seat behind the wheel and explore the Palm Beach Gardens vehicles at Rec n' Rescue. Families who attend the event will get an up-close view of emergency response vehicles and parks and recreation equipment.
Kids will also meet the personnel who protect, serve and build our community. The event will also feature free yoga at 8 a.m., storytelling at 10 a.m. and a cooking demonstration at 11 a.m.
