Wait times at airports during the partial government shutdown
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) —
Atlanta is a tough airport to get through right now during the partial government shutdown, according to new figures from the Transportation Security Administration.
The TSA said Monday's maximum standard wait time at Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport is 88 minutes, with a maximum wait time in the PreCheck line of 55 minutes.
The national average is 30 minutes and 10 minutes respectively, the TSA said.
PBIA is averaging a nine minute standard wait time, and an eight minute wait for PreCheck. Fort Lauderdale is 19 and five minutes respectively.
