Police are looking for a man who they say stole more than a quarter of a million dollars worth of jewelry from a home in Hollywood.

Fortunately, he's caught on camera peeking into the home last December.

Police said the man seen on Ring surveillance video broke into a safe and stole more than $250,000 worth of jewelry.

Investigators said the man spent about 30 minutes inside the home near South Southlake Drive and 7th Avenue. Police said the thief then hopped into a car waiting outside and disappeared.

Investigators said the man wore a Houston Astros championship baseball cap.

Call Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-8477 if you recognize the man. Investigators believe he had two buddies with him. You could get a reward up to $8,400 if your tip leads to their arrests.
