Unsubstantiated threat at Forest Hill High School

The Palm Beach School District is investigating an unsubstantiated threat sent to Forest Hill High School.

The district sent a call out to students and parents, informing them of the threat.

School Police said students who had the "Air Drop" function on their phones activated received a SnapChat post as a text message. The district said the posting "created a significant school disturbance and compromised school operations."

Investigators determined no legitimate threat to the school. However, it's being taken seriously.

"The person or persons involved in this threat could face a felony charge," the principal said in the message to parents.

The district said those found to be responsible for the scare could face legal and disciplinary action.
