WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — South Florida's streak of warm, summer-like days continues ... for just one more day.
A weak cool front will dissipate as it slips through on Tuesday. Along with partly cloudy skies expect a 20% chance for a passing shower. Highs reach the low to mid 80s as winds shift into the North-Northeast.
High temperatures drop into the upper 70s to near 80 behind the front Wednesday and Thursday.
Winds pick up out of the East Wednesday and Thursday 15-25 mph. Seas build to 4-8 feet with a high rip current risk returning.
Later in the week we stay dry with sunny to partly cloudy skies and only a 10% shower chance. Highs creep back into the lower 80s.
Long range: The next potentially more potent cold front enters the picture next Sunday-Monday with a 40% chance for scattered showers and storms.
Beach and boating Tuesday: Wind: NW-NE 5-15 knots
