President Trump returns to Palm Beach ahead of a visit from Japan's Prime Minister

President Donald Trump is expected to arrive in South Florida Monday in the wake of the attack on Syrian chemical weapons facilities.

The president held a round table discussion in Miami, promoting the $1.5 trillion tax cut package he signed into law. Mister Trump is then scheduled to land in West Palm Beach Monday afternoon.

Then, the countdown begins for the highly anticipated arrival of Japanese Prime Minister, Shinzo Abe and his wife.

Abe is expected to arrive at Mar-a-Lago on Tuesday for two days of talks with President Trump; the topic of discussion is expected to be North Korea.

This is the Prime Minister’s second visit to South Florida since the President took office.

Road closures surrounding Mar-a-Lago will go into effect Monday around 6 a.m.

According to officials with the Town of Palm Beach, those closures will remain in effect through Sunday, April 22.

Abe and his wife are scheduled to leave West Palm Beach Thursday.
