UPDATE: Two infants in vehicle as suspect fled deputies before crashing car

A man is facing charges after Palm Beach Sheriff's deputies arrested him after he eluded police before crashing his car Saturday night.

Deputies arrested 29-year-old Jessie Jean-Denis after he allegedly robbed a CVS Saturday night, and attempted to hit a clerk with his car.

According to deputies, Denis fled the scene, and in an attempt to get away, crashed at the intersection of of Brentwood Blvd and Lantana Road.

There were twin infants in the car with Denis, as well as a woman.

Denis is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, eluding police, larceny and two counts of child cruelty.

A nine-month-old was sent to the hospital Saturday night after a suspect's vehicle crashed at a Lake Worth intersection, authorities say.

A suspect allegedly committed a theft at a CVS Saturday night and tried to hit the clerk with his car as he was fleeing the scene, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies issued a be on the look out for the suspect's vehicle, and a deputy attempted to stop the vehicle when he spotted it.

The vehicle fled from the deputy and ended up crashing at the intersection of Brentwood Blvd and Lantana Road, deputies said.

He ran from the vehicle, leaving behind a woman and the nine-month-old in the car, according to deputies.

The child was taken to the hospital for treatment, PBSO said.

Another nine-month-old was in the vehicle, but was not taken to the hospital, according to deputies.

Deputies were able to capture the suspect, deputies added.
