Golfer Tiger Woods is out of jail after being arrested on a charge of suspicion of driving under the influence.

A spokeswoman for Jupiter Police says an officer found Tiger Woods in his car around 3 a.m. on Military Trail, just south of Indian Creek Parkway.

The police report released on Tuesday said the officer found Woods asleep at the wheel. The engine was also running.

Woods, 41, was taken to the Palm Beach County Jail and booked at 7 a.m.

He was released just before 11 a.m., according to jail records.

According to police, he took a breathalyzer test at the scene, and registered a .000 on two occasions. Woods later apologized on Instagram, telling his fans alcohol was not involved.

Woods wrote on his news blog that he hasn't "felt this good in years," just days ago after participating in last weekend's Tiger Jam. The event included a number of celebrities including Kate Upton, Chris Paul, Kid Rock and Darius Rucker, just to name a few.

His career has been plagued by recent injuries. Plus, there's that fateful night on Thanksgiving in 2009 when his wife at the time, Elin Nordegren, chased him out of their Orlando-area home with a golf club. The cheating sex scandal led to their divorce. They have two children together.

Woods has played in just one event in 2017, according to cbssports.com. The world's former number one golfer pulled out of The Masters earlier this year. He's now recovering from fusion surgery on his back.

Woods, according to pgatour.com, earned the nickname "Tiger" after a Vietnamese friend of his father's in Vietnam. He went pro in 1996 and earned more than $110 million on tour with 79 victories. Currently he's ranked 860 in the world.
