Small plane crashes in Pembroke Pines

PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. (CBS12) — A small plane crashed near North Perry Airport late Thursday afternoon, Pembroke Pines police said.

The plane had four people aboard, according to WSVN. It crashed near Pembroke Road and University Drive.

Police say everyone who was on board was accounted for and at least one person is being taken to the hospital.

No word on what caused the crash.
