WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — Thursday morning CBS12 News was joined by Florida Sen. Rick Scott.
His exclusive interview with CBS12 comes ahead of Thursday night's presidential debate between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump.
Scott talked about issues the country is facing such as the crisis at the border, abortion, inflation and the legalization of marijuana.

Scott, who is also up for reelection during the November election, endorsed Trump in 2023. He spoke about what he wants to hear the 47th president talk about during Thursday night's presidential debate.
"Talk about the issues. You're running for president, let's talk about the border. Biden opened the border, Trump secured the border...they got to talk about inflation, that's a big issue and they got to talk about their foreign policy. That's what the public wants to know," Scott said.
