Second arrest made in sledge hammer robbery

A man faced a judge Sunday morning after deputies arrested him in connection with a robbery involving a sledgehammer that happened in February.

Palm Beach Count Sheriff's deputies arrested 25-year-old Stephane Telfort Saturday.

According to the arrest report, deputies were tipped off about Telfort's connection to the robbery. The caller told deputies Telfort lived in the same home as the other suspect, Roady Sanozier, in Coral Springs.

Deputies say the victim positively identified Telfort in a photo line up.

Telefort made his first appearance Sunday. a judge charged him with one count of robbery with a deadly weapon, one count of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon causing bodily harm and one count of grand theft.
