School board elections are just around the corner, and the governor wants to know where candidates stand on certain controversial topics.

Candidates were recently sent a survey from Gov. Ron DeSantis' campaign office. He's running for reelection in November.

Called the 'DeSantis Education Agenda Survey,' the questionnaire asks candidates how they feel about school safety measures, banning Critical Race Theory (CRT), masking in schools, and other hot-button issues.

School board elections in Florida are historically nonpartisan, but the job as become increasingly political in recent years.
