Royal Palm Beach man dies from injuries sustained in crash earlier this month

ROYAL PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — A 53-year-old man died last Sunday morning from injuries sustained in a crash 10 days prior, the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office said.

Deputies were notified that Christopher Paul Sullivan died in his home.

On Feb. 4 just after 4 p.m., Sergio Alvares de Magalhaes stopped in the left lane of North Military Trail, just north of the intersection of Westgate Avenue, according to the sheriff's office. Sullivan was driving behind de Magalhaes, but wasn't able to stop and ended up rear-ending him.

No injuries were reported on the scene, but deputies found out Tuesday about Sullivan's death.
