Teacher on the run is found dead in Nashville
Nashville Police have confirmed that fugitive Corey Perry has died from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot to the head.
Perry was found at the Delux Inn in Nashville, Tennessee. Perry was originally from the area.
He was pronounced dead at Skyline Medical Center. It is still being investigated.
Perry has been on the run since March, and is wanted for a variety of child pornography charges.
Perry, 33, worked as a robotics teacher at Howell Watkins Middle School in Palm Beach Gardens.
A federal arrest warrant was issued last month for the production of child pornography, receipt of child pornography and enticement.
The school district in Palm Beach County swiftly suspended the teacher.
This week the FBI announced they were offering $25,000 reward for Perry. He was last seen on March 26 in Fort Lauderdale according to an FBI release.
The agency said victims and witnesses have come forward recently.
