WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — The holidays are right around the corner and while it’s usually a time to celebrate with loved ones, it can be extremely hard on anyone who's struggling to put food on the table.
That's why for 32 years now, CBS12 News has been partnering with the United Way of Palm Beach County and the Palm Beach County Food Bank for Project Thanksgiving, a program that let’s all of us do what we can to ensure every family has a wholesome meal to share this holiday season.
On Tuesday November 1, 2022, CBS12 News and our partners will be hosting a telethon to encourage the community to make donations that will be used to purchase groceries and buy gift cards to local grocery stores so families can purchase the ingredients they need to make a warm Thanksgiving meal.
The number to call Tuesday to donate is (561) 882-0880.
You can also donate online, by texting THANKSUW to 41444, or mailing a check to the United Way of Palm Beach County. You can also host a food drive or volunteer your time.
Just $20 can feed a family of four.
