Port St. Lucie fire damages house, car

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (CBS12) — An early morning fire Friday severely damaged a house and consumes a parked car in Port St. Lucie.

Firefighters were called at 2:47 a.m. to a house on SW Flower Lane, where a fire was burning both the home and the car. The fire took about 40 minutes to be brought under control. Five people, three adults and two children, have been displaced by the fire and are under the care of The Red Cross. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
