WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — Police found a body shortly before 11 a.m. on the northern end of West Palm Beach Saturday.
The West Palm Beach police department located a man's body in a canal on 45th Street between Corporate Way and Congress Avenue.
Police say the man has not yet been identified, but he has been described as an elderly male with some gray hair. The man was wearing layers of clothing, brown work boots, and a rope as a belt.
They believe he was homeless due to his clothing and at this time, do not believe foul play was involved.
They also believe he was in the water for a couple of days.
The dive team was called to the scene to recover the body from the water.
