Police released new information in the stolen car investigation that led to a police shooting along Palm Beach Lakes.

Officers initially located the stolen car in the drive-through at Hook Fish and Chicken Monday afternoon. Police say the officers ordered the occupants of the car to get out. Instead, police say the car accelerated forward, "causing injury to one officer" and hitting a marked patrol car in the parking lot, along with a civilian car.

West Palm Beach Police say officers Anthony Odea and Travis Limauro opened fire on the car, hitting the driver.

Police said the driver kept going down Palm Beach Lakes and hit several cars in traffic before crashing into a cement pole.

Both men in the car ran off, according to police. The two suspects were captured after a short chase on foot.

The driver of the stolen car has been identified by police as 18-year-old Biguno Pierre of Lantana. He's being treated at the hospital for a gunshot wound.

He is facing charges of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, grand theft auto and resisting without violence.

The passenger has been identified by police as DQ Jeune of Lantana. He's jailed charges of resisting without violence.

Officer Odea is out of the hospital after being treated for a leg injury.

Those hit by the fleeing car were not hurt, according to police.

Investigators released the disciplinary histories on both officers.

Officer Odea received a written reprimand in July 2015 for a B2 violation. It was the result of negligence in connection with a officer-involved vehicle crash that led to "department property loss" or damage, according to the report provided by police.

Officer Limauro has two items in his disciplinary history. He was ordered to get verbal counsel following a citizen complaint in 2012. A year later he received a written reprimand for a vehicle crash.
