Small plane crashes in cane field in South Bay

SOUTH BAY, Fla. (CBS12) — A small plane crashed in South Bay.

Palm Beach County Fire Rescue said the plane went down in a cane field near Hacienda Okeelanta on Highway 27.

The first crews on scene found two people standing outside the wreckage of a single-engine Cessna.

No one was hurt.

Fire Rescue said the crash scene is being turned over to the FAA and NTSB for the investigation.
