WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — Who doesn't love bubbles and bouquets? Jay Zeager, the Operations Coordinator of Petals with Purpose joined CBS12 This Morning to explain how a floral arraignment contest will help bloom funds for the local charity.
Bubbles & Bouquets is planned for Sunday, April 23, 2017 from 11:30 a.m. 2 p.m. at the Lake Pavilion in Downtown West Palm Beach.
This annual fundraiser benefits Petals With Purpose, a charity unique to Palm Beach County that touches the lives of children, the elderly and those living with disabilities through donated flowers.
The event, which draws more than 100 people each year, spotlights five local prominent couples in a floral arrangement contest.
Guests in attendance can expect a lavish brunch, delicious desserts, mimosas, a silent auction and more!
Couples can raise money through ticket sales and donations online as well as donation during and after the floral arranging contest.
The flowers donated to Petals With Purpose make their way to shelters, nursing homes and hospices.
