WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — One man is dead after they were hit by a Brightline train, according to West Palm Beach police.

Police say the incident happened around 6:20 p.m. Saturday on Nottingham Boulevard near Georgia Avenue.

Police say a man was crossing the train tracks when he was hit by the northbound train. Police also say the gates were down when the man was hit.

He's been identified as 55-year-old Jose Roibal of West Palm Beach.
