One person injured after plane went down in St. Lucie County

FORT PIERCE, Fla. (CBS12) — One person was taken to the hospital after a small plane went down in western Fort Pierce Tuesday morning, the St. Lucie County Fire District said.

The plane went down in some water off Minute Maid Road at 10:53 a.m.

The person was taken to the hospital by air. No word on what caused the crash or what the condition of the person is.
