OKEECHOBEE, Fla. (CBS12) — The Okeechobee Music and Arts Festival is taking a break.
Organizers announced on social media they're holding off on the annual bash until 2020.
Team Okeechobee did not give a reason as to why they're taking a year hiatus.
"As we pause for a moment and look back, we are incredibly humbled by the love and spirit you have shown us each and every year at OMF," wrote organizers on Facebook. "This tight knit community of fans, attendees, musicians, artists and staff that we've built together truly belongs to everyone."
The festival attracted big names like Snoop Dogg, Usher, Wiz Khalifa, and Kings of Leon.
The event has been a big attraction for law enforcement as well. A 2-day crackdown on highway drugs before the festival led to 99 arrests in 2017. Earlier this year, authorities arrested 19 people and confiscated 105 pounds of drugs
