New cruise ship heads to the Bahamas from Palm Beach
PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) —
It’s called the Grand Classica.
It’s the newest addition to the Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line that will sail to the Bahamas.
The 700 ft. ship will be making its maiden voyage Friday morning from the Port Of Palm Beach and will give passengers another option for a quick getaway weekend.
The Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line is the only two day cruise line to the Bahamas in Palm Beach County.
The Grand Classico was originally built in 1991 and has recently undergone a major makeover. The new cruise can accommodate up to 1700 passengers.
Ticket prices according to the company’s website start at $199 per person.
The Grand Classica will be unveiled at 9 o’clock Friday morning.
