The FBI is searching for a Palm Beach County teacher wanted on child pornography charges.

It’s too close for comfort for neighbors of Corey Perry.

“The guy stays across from me and that’s pretty scary because they have a whole bunch of kids that live in there,” Shinitson Kerlegrand said.

The H.L. Watkins Middle School teacher is a wanted man.

The FBI tells CBS12, the 33 year-old is facing several child pornography charges including production of child pornography, receipt of child pornography and enticement.

The Palm Beach County School District tells CBS12 students under the age of 18 are victims.

“We want to locate him and bring him to justice,” FBI Special Agent Michael Leverock said.

Reached over the phone, a woman who refused to give us her name but identified herself as Perry’s grandmother, told CBS12 the accusations against her grandson are not true.

“That is not his nature at all. He is a person that does good for everybody," the woman said.

Perry’s grandmother says she doesn’t know where he’s hiding.

“We have no idea where Mr. Perry is. We have not heard from him. We are in suspense and we want to know ourselves where he is. We just know he’s scared; we want to let him know we love him.”

The FBI is asking parents to check their child’s electronic devices to see if they had any contact with Perry.
