The coastal city near where Hurricane Michael made landfall is in shambles.

Aerial video from Live Storms Media shows a number of homes and buildings are now piles of lumber and rocks.

Gov. Scott said state search-and-rescue teams are on the ground looking for possible victims.

The National Hurricane Center says Mexico Beach got hit with an estimated 9-12 feet of storm surge.

Right now, Hurricane Michael is blamed for one death in Florida and one in Georgia. The storm is now drenching the Carolinas with rain as a tropical storm.
