LAKE WORTH, Fla. (CBS12) — UPDATE: The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office (PBSO) said both Melanne Gonzalez Ayala and her son Angel Gonzalez were safely located.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office (PBSO) said deputies are actively searching for a missing mother and her son in Lake Worth.
Melanne Gonzalez Ayala and her son Angel Gonzalez were last seen at John Prince Park at 5 a.m. near the maintenance compound building. Melanne was seen carrying her son and a black book.
